The Vermont/New Hampshire Valley Quest boxes are awesome!! You
can order the quest book for $12.95. It contains clues for 89 boxes that
were made by kids in school. They are really great for showing visitors
unique hidden places that you might not normally see. They also give you a
great history lesson. Most of the quest boxes are out from Earth day
through November, but a few are year round. You can order the book by
calling 603-632-7377 and ask for the Valley Quest guide.
Good Luck and Enjoy,
Melissa

Many of them won't be out until later in April.
If you're really serious about the Valleyquest boxes, it's worth
getting the Valleyquest book at most any Upper Valley bookstore.

Last year we did a few of the Valley Quests around Loch Lyme, NH area. The
kids had a blast (ages 2-9).
A good road map is pretty helpful in addition to the maps in the Valley
Quest book.

I've fixed the link to the ValleyQuest site.
Unfortunately, the clues are no longer listed on-line. (They say the site is
under reconstruction.)
It is definitely worth purchasing their clue
book. The address is at the bottom of the page.

Hi
I am the coordinator of the Valley Quest program.
We have close to 100 letterboxes across the Upper
Valley region of Vermont and New Hampshire. The
boxes range from Bellows Falls, VT to the south up
to Orford, NH in the north; and stretch from New
London, NH in the east to Woodstock, VT in the west.
The Quests, as we call them, are collected and
published in a book called Valley Quest: 89
Treasure Hunts in the Upper Valley.
The 224 page book is available from Enfield Distribution
for $12.95 plus postage by calling (603) 632 - 7377.
Our program is seasonal, with the boxes put out on
Earth Day, April 22nd and taken in at Thanksgiving.
They will all be out any day now!
The rest of the year many of the treasures (and most
of the clues) are hidden under snow and ice.
Each year we work with school groups to make more Quests
(at a rate of 15 - 20 per year) and every once in a while
republish a book.
I have just recently joined this group, but will start
to post some of the new Quest to keep you guys up to date
with what we are up to.
Wanda, by the way, was the first to complete all 89 Quests!
About 30 people have earned patches for completing 20!
Cheers,
Steve Glazer
